The Cultural Alliance of Greater Birmingham came to The Modern Brand with a challenge. Their brand story was limiting their ability to reach and impact their desired audience. As the Cultural Alliance, the organization was focused on serving the arts and culture organizations in the Birmingham area (museums, performance groups, etc.).
Branding Strategy
They wanted to expand their mission to work with more segments of the creative class. Those included culinary arts, architects, graphic designers, musicians, film makers, and others that would not be considered traditional arts and culture. As part of a complete rebrand from the ground up, The Modern Brand created a new name and identity—Create Birmingham—then crafted a new story to better represent their expanded mission.
