We worked with CMS to mark their 50th anniversary with a campaign that celebrated excellence in Montessori education and showcased their new facilities. These pieces reflect the creativity, passion, and purpose that guide this school.

Brand Extension

This project was all about brand extension—how do we take an existing brand and build upon it to make it do more and convey more, while staying true to the visual identity of the original?

5 x 10 = 50

For Creative Montessori School, we used the iconic counting beads characteristic of the Montessori teaching method to frame their wordmark in a hexagon—one side for each decade since their inception. The tangerine hue is warm and fresh and makes an exciting palette for the new educational iconography used in their vinyls and signage.

Where They came from & where they’re going

The 50th anniversary video was produced for their MonteSoirée fundraising event. It was written and filmed to communicate the Montessori philosophy and celebrate the kids of CMS. Meanwhile, the event program walks audiences through the school’s timeline, highlighting their pioneering spirit and showing gratitude for the support that got them where they are today.
