Starting at the Start
When we began working with The Braintrust Consulting Group over 10 years ago, it was little more than an idea. The name was not finalized, there was no logo and there was only one employee (Founder, Brian Rabon). Brian trusted us to help him bring his company to life. We worked side-by-side on naming, positioning, and go-to-market strategy. As a training company, we wanted Braintrust to feel different. We wanted it to be fun and appealing. We wanted class attendees to know that this was not going to be a boring PowerPoint lecture. And so the pigs and chickens were born.
Continual Growth
Over the course of 10 years, The Braintrust Consulting Group has grown from a one-person startup in Birmingham, AL into a 25 person national brand that has trained more than 12,000 Scrum Professionals. And Modern Brand has been right there beside them in every step of the journey. From building their first website to today, we have provided every piece of marketing and advertising that the company has ever utilized. We are proud of this long-term partnership where we have functioned as the comprehensive outsourced marketing department for this dynamic national brand.
The Brand With the pigs
While there are a lot of training companies that specialize in project management training, there is only one “brand with the pigs”. Braintrust counts their pigs and chickens as one of their company uniques that separates them from the competition. Across the country, even people who don’t know the name Braintrust know of the pigs and chickens brand. These fun company mascots have taken on a life of their own and they are now featured prominently on book jackets, Sizing Cards, Kanban Boards and other best-selling products. It took a huge leap of faith for Braintrust to trust our animated brand strategy, but that trust led to the strongest brand recognition in the entire industry.
